Safety Film 12 mil (336 microns)
Safety Film 12 mil (336 microns) reinforces large windows in residential and commercial spaces. This anti-intrusion film protects large window areas in homes, offices and other premises, making break-ins, vandalism and theft harder.

Our Safety Film 12 mil is used in a variety of sectors, including retail and financial services. Its uses include:
- Windows at ground level in apartments, private homes, and offices.
- Uniform glass façades.
- Glass structures, such as conservatories.
- Expansive retail shopfronts and office windows.
- Windows in police and financial institutions.
EN 356 P2A Standard: Durable, Invisible Glass Protection
Adhering to the EN 356 P2A safety standard, this transparent film stays virtually undetectable on glass and keeps the original look of the window while protecting it. Its service life is over nine years, without blurring or colour changes. The adhesive suits all glass types and structures.
With a reinforcement capacity of 63 kg per square metre, in line with the EN 356 P2A standard, it increases the glass's resistance to external forces.

Enhancing Window Security with Safety Film 12 mil
Impact resistance is a key feature; the film prevents glass from shattering upon impact from heavy objects like stones, instead forming a spiderweb pattern. This is particularly useful for large or fragile glass areas, as the film binds broken pieces together, impeding unauthorised access.
This Safety Film 12 mil is suited for larger windows, typically those over 1.8 square metres in area. For instance:
- Windows of 1.20 metres width and 1.90 metres height, with an area of 2.28 square metres.
- Windows of 2.15 metres width and 95 centimetres height, covering 2.04 square metres.
For smaller-sized glass, a thinner protective film, such as the security film 8 mil 224 microns, can be used.
It's important to consider various factors including location and potential security threats when choosing the right film.
How to order Safety Film 12 mil cut to size
- Enter the width and height of your glass in whole centimetres - for example, 120 × 190 cm.
- The price for your size appears straight away, without registration.
- Add the piece to the cart and place the order - we cut it and send it ready to fit.
Cutting is done on a CNC plotter with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The largest single piece we cut is 280 × 280 cm. Pieces are cut from rolls of professional width 152.4 cm, so anything wider is made in two parts - before such an order goes into production we contact the buyer and agree how the piece is divided.
