What the film looks and feels like

The colour is a neutral grey without any metallic tone - that is the difference from the other two in the sandblast trio: Kpmf 51112 has a silver sheen, FG-51131 a gold tint, FG-402 is plain grey. Run your fingers over it and you feel the sandblast grain - a slight roughness on the surface. Real sandblasting means blasting sand at the glass at high speed; this film gives the same look for a fraction of the cost, and it can be removed later.

Wet installation

The adhesive layer sits on a kraft paper liner; the film is a vinyl film for glass and goes on wet. Peel the liner, spray the mounting solution onto the glass and the adhesive side, position the piece and squeegee the water out.
