The Blue Max Squeegee
The Blue Max is the main squeegee for tinting work — on car glass and on flat architectural glass in buildings. It is used by professional installers and by people fitting film themselves.
Features of The Blue Max
The squeegee drives the installation solution out from between the glass and the film without scratching or marking either. In experienced hands it also works on shaped and curved surfaces.
Dimensions are 127 × 50 × 7 mm. One edge is bevelled on a single side, which clears the solution more effectively. The blade is polyurethane, which combines flexibility with enough rigidity to press the film down.
Key Aspects of the Blue Max
- Handle with care: protect the working edge from damage. Any scratches on this edge degrade the quality of your work.
- Wear: the working edge wears out over time. Depending on the type of window film it may need replacing after 400-600 square metres of use.
- Design: the working blade is replaceable and fits into a reusable handle.
