The Final Step of the Installation

The cloth is used at the end of the work. Once the main part of the mounting solution has been removed with the Blue Max squeegee, the microfibre cloth comes into play.

How to Remove the Solution and Dry the Edges

After the bulk of the solution is scraped away with the Blue Max, the edges of the film need careful handling. Wrap the squeegee with the cloth, then press gently and move along the edges of the film.

This removes the residual solution and dries the edges, so the film sits cleanly along the perimeter.

Why Microfibre Over Traditional Methods

The Microfibre Dust-Free Montage Cloth absorbs more than traditional mounting papers, which makes the final stage of the work faster. It does not scratch the window film - important on a freshly applied film, where the surface is still soft.

What to Use the Microfibre Cloth With

For window film installation, use the Microfibre Dust-Free Montage Cloth together with a 3M squeegee. The Blue Max and the 3M Gold remove the mounting solution, and the cloth finishes the edges.
